About
mcp-approvals is a Model Context Protocol server that adds human approval gates to consequential agent actions. It persists approval requests, decisions, and timeouts to an append-only, hash-chained SQLite audit log to detect tampering. It can be installed as a Python CLI, imported as a library, run via Docker, or integrated directly into Claude Desktop.
From the repository: “MCP server implementing a human-in-the-loop approval gate for AI agents, with a tamper-evident hash-chained audit log.”
