About
Kyoo is an open-source media streaming server designed as an alternative to Jellyfin and Plex. It organizes and streams video libraries with automatic metadata matching, dynamic transcoding, intro detection, and subtitle support without requiring strict directory structures. The server can be deployed using Docker or Kubernetes via an official Helm chart.
From the repository: “A portable and vast media library solution.”
