About

Dagu is a local-first workflow engine that executes declarative YAML DAGs without requiring an external database or message broker. It turns shell scripts, Docker containers, and Kubernetes jobs into resilient workflows with schedules, retries, and step logs. It runs as a single binary, a Docker container, or on Kubernetes via Helm, and includes a built-in web UI.

From the repository: “Self-hostable workflow orchestrator for teams whose main work isn't orchestration. Declarative YAML over your scripts, SSH commands, containers, etc; keep workflows separate from business logic. One binary, no database, runs on limited H/W resources. Alternative to Airflow / Cron / Job Scheduler.”
