About
Project NOMAD is an offline knowledge and education server designed to run on local hardware without internet access. It orchestrates containerized applications to deliver offline Wikipedia, medical references, Khan Academy courses, regional maps, notes, and local AI chat. The system is deployed via Docker or a terminal install script and managed through a web interface.
From the repository: “Project NOMAD is an offline-first knowledge and education server. Wikipedia, thousands of books, courses, maps, and optional local AI, all running on hardware you own with no internet required.”
