Company check
Evaluate a project for your company Beta
Want to use an open-source tool at work? Get a report you can send to your manager, security team or legal team. It covers the license, what you would install, security, upkeep and dependencies. Every line links to where it came from.
This is a beta feature. Reports can still contain mistakes. Check the important points against the linked sources before you decide.
How the report is made
- We read the repository on GitHub: license file, README, releases, security policy and dependency list. We also check OpenSSF Scorecard, OSV.dev and deps.dev.
- An AI model writes the report from those sources only. Each line must name the source it comes from.
- Our code checks every number, version and link against its source, and removes dashes and filler words.
- A second AI model checks each line against the sources. Lines it cannot confirm are taken out and listed at the end.
It takes about two minutes. Only you can see your reports. This is not legal advice: your legal team should read the license before you decide.
