Centrifugo is a language-agnostic real-time messaging server that delivers messages to connected clients over WebSocket, HTTP-streaming, Server-Sent Events, and gRPC. Backends publish messages using HTTP or gRPC APIs while clients subscribe via official SDKs or raw protocol connections. It runs as a standalone binary or via Docker and includes a built-in administrative web UI.
